We have arrived home!

Wednesday afternoon we arrived at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.  Our overseas flight from Brisbane to LA was on time and not nearly as bad as we had thought. ( 13 hours) The exit rows we purchased were well worth the extra cost as the leg room was fantastic, and we had the ability to stand up and move around without bothering any one else. Lena and Elle Beehler greeted us as we arrived in our cab.  Lena had prepared a very welcomed meal which we enjoyed before crashing for the evening.  Bob figured we had been up for nearly 30 hours. Thursday, we came on in to Atlanta and then to Asheville on flight # 18!  We think this must be a record for that many flights in 30 days.  My suitcase is wearing every single bag check scar and then some.

We are slowly getting accustomed to a new time zone, but easily crash quite early each night.  Maggie Valley looks a lot different than when we left with some snow on the ground.  Now, all the trees have leaves, flowers are blooming and summer is in the air. (as well as a dozen different pollens.)

Thanks for following along on our trip.  We enjoyed sharing our fun with you and hope you enjoyed reading about our adventures.  If you ever want to go to Australia or New Zealand, we certainly have some suggestions that might assist.
