We are now just about two weeks away from our trip to Australia and New Zealand. We have sorted all the materials we have collected and picked the very best ones to accompany us on our trip. The next step is to practice packing. The weight restrictions will make us selective in what we take. Our carry-on cannot exceed 15 # and that is not much when the bag itself weighs 6 #.

Last night, I made the decision to purchase a KINDLE Reader before leaving. It should arrive in a few days, then I have the learning curve to make it work as well as downloading all the books I want to take. My friend, Jane, loaned me one to try it out and that helped immensely as I could see if I really could read on this electronic device. Stay tuned as I see how we get along.
